We produce integrated circuits that manufacturers design into their audio and video products. I can't contact Cirrus Support, because on their website it's written: The thing I can't understand is - Is MacBook Using Realtek Audio, stupid Cirrus or NVIDIA Audio ? Just to mention, my MB is using only one "multi" audio jack. Then somehow I updated Cirrus driver to "High Definition Audio", but Audio-IN is not working, only Audio-OUT (The same thing with Cirrus). In Device Manager I had "Cirrus CS4206A (AB13)" and three devices of "NVIDIA High Definition Audio". It would show a trully commitment to the environment.Which audio driver is used by MacBook Pro 7.1? I'm running BootCamp (Windows7 Ultimate 圆4) and I'm having a problem with audio input, so I'm looking for anything taht will make it work. I have been going small, buying after my very unique 3.1 Ghz MBpro13 to a smaller, lighter, my first used mac (but new), the discontinued MacBook 12 i7.īut thanks to DosDude1 (thanks! I have to donate!), I have been able to use my old MBpro15 2008 (with SSD) that really flies with Mojave, and the fact that works, really makes me wonder that if Apple wants to save the environment and DosDude has been able to patch this old, maybe Apple should invest a little to make all this old macs work with the latest, as it has been proven they actually can work. I already have a 3.1 Ghz MacBookPro13 and not sure I want a MacBookPro 16 yet (and to be honest, I am still coming to terms with the nearly $5000 full loaded price and the horror stories that when the digit finger print fails and people try to reset the chip to make it work, and the not been able to access the whole HD after). Please don't tell me to buy a new MacBook. So good that Apple could have choosen to support them even.but next to a skinny iMac it looked. it was working amazingly well with Mojave. Without any major issues, basically that iMac was "up to date" suddenly and was quite snappy to boot! I like using Mojave on 27" iMacs from 2009 with HD4850 GPU's 8gb and a SSD HDD and thinking that Wow. What was really cool was putting an SSD drive into an iMac that was over 10 years old and getting Siri to tell me how the weather was" not too good " Apple doesn't officially support that product anymore.DUH! Maybe, just maybe you should really think about the solution rather than pointing out the otherwise obvious stated standard of Apples cited publications for all to read.Yeah. Wow, how insightful DAN.Sometimes its best to just use "Google" a little longer. There are other options too, like maybe using usb sound device, like sound blaster play, or like what John said.
